Hey,

my name is Aino.

I live listening to my body first. But it hasn’t always been like that. When I started my somatic movement journey, I was seriously stressed and overwhelmed and knew that something needed to change. As coming from a background of dance and yoga, the body-first approach felt natural to me, so I decided to go all in. 

 

Slowly I started to connect more with my body and find strength from myself. I knew that whatever happens, I will be my own safe space. That I will always be able to find joy & freedom inside myself, get grounded, be guided by my intuition and choose a new path, and by embracing my sensitive self I get to create a life of joy & wonder. 

 

And around this I have created my work. I want to see you thriving, feeling life with all your senses, not numbing or shutting yourself down because you are feeling so much.

 

You are here to feel it all. 

I want to inspire you to move with joy & freedom

We all have our own way of moving, our ways of existing in these bodies. And we can enjoy it, no matter if we want to create art with the way we move, or just want to feel more at ease with ourselves and find home in our bodies. I want to encourage you too look for the joy and safety within you, and to see what happens when you are truly kind to yourself, listen your body and allow it to express freely.

As I see it, almost any kind of movement can be used as a tool for self-discovery and healing, if it's done with intention and awareness. My own journey of movement as well as relationship with my body has been greatly affected by years of intense dance training. Spending hours, days, weeks and months fully occupied with the way my body moves, how I can express more freely and what happens when I allow my body to take the lead - this has taken me where I am today. 

 

And still, you don't need to be professional dancer or follow the newest yoga trends to understand movement and how it affects our minds, bodies and lives. Your journey is your own, and it's never too late to start exploring.

  • Yoga & Meditation Teacher - 300 hrs (Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga - Mantra Yoga & Meditation School, Nepal)

  • Movingness-instructror levels 1-3 (300hrs in Somatic Movement)

  • Yoga Teacher - 200 hrs (Hatha & Vinyasa)

  • Bachelor of Performing Arts - Dance (Institute of the Arts Barcelona)
